Google Sitemap Generator更新

相信很多blogger都在使用这个自动生成sitemap的WordPress插件吧，因为我一直在使用一个叫做WordPress Plugins Tracker的插件，所以插件有没有更新都用这个插件来看，刚才才知道原来Google Sitemap Generator 已经由V3.0 Beta7升级到了最新的Beta8，而那个Tracker插件并没有提示有新的升级。看来第三方的插件还是更新比较慢的，毕竟维护管理的人少。等WordPress V2.3出来，据说将增加插件自动更新的功能。
新版的Google Sitemap Generator更新了如下的内容：
Update 5 (2007-07-22 v. 3.0b8):
- Fixed bug with empty categories
- Fixed bug with translation plugins
- Added support for robots.txt
- Switched YAHOO ping API from YAHOO Web Services to the “normal” ping service
- Search engines will only be pinged if the sitemap file has changed
